Websites and Blogs:
Goat Justice League

Fias Co Farm: a great site with tons of information on every goat-related topic you can think of

Little Homestead in the City: has many blog posts featuring their goats and a couple FAQ pages (FAQ pageFAQ page2)

Local Supplies and Resources:
Mason Elevator Company (MECO): independently owned farm supply company. MECO sells their own livestock feed that they mix onsite. It's probably a lot fresher than other sources and the "food-miles" are probably a lot lower.

Tractor Supply Company (TSC): there are several locations in the Lansing area. This farm supply store has a broad range of supplies.

Soldan's Feeds and Pet Supply: there are several of these in the Lansing area. Some of the branches seem to specialize more in pet supplies, while others carry more livestock stuff.

Craigslist.org: If you've never used craigslist before, it can be hit-or-miss. You can find all kinds of local classified ads. Look around and you might find animals for sale, hay, fencing, goat sheds, or other items.
